A customer calls with a change to an order, and later nobody agrees on what was said. This standalone telephone recorder keeps your calls on its 16 GB SD card, more than 970 hours of them. Find the call by date or number and play it back right on the unit.

• 970+ hours on 16 GB: Loop recording replaces the oldest files when the card fills, so recording never stops for lack of space.
• Analog, digital and IP phones: Connect it to a landline or VoIP line, or between a digital or IP phone and its handset.
• Three recording modes: Recording starts when the phone is picked up, when a voice is detected, or at the press of a button.
• Caller ID on every call: Each recording logs the date, time, length, direction and number, and you can search by date, number or call type.
• Screen and speaker built in: Review, play, flag and delete recordings on the backlit display without a computer.
• Recording announcement: An optional message you record plays to both sides when recording starts.

What you need: A wall outlet for the included 5 V adapter. To manage recordings on a computer, a Windows PC with a USB port; the SD card also opens on a Mac or Windows computer.

In the box: Recorder, 16 GB SD card, 1 m USB cable, 1 m RJ11 phone cable, 0.5 m RJ9 phone cable, 5 V power adapter and user manual. Three AAA backup batteries not included.

Good to know: The announcement works on analog and VoIP landlines only, not digital or IP phones. On backup batteries, the recorder runs about 2–3 hours while recording or 5–7 hours on standby.

Using it: Slide the source switch to MIC, and the built-in microphone records a meeting or interview at your desk. Start it by hand or let voices trigger it.
